He was the son of Syedi Shamas Khan Saheb (Q.R) and from the progeny of Syedi Fakhruddin Shahid (Q.S). During Syedna Qutbuddin Shahid's (R.A) and Syedna Feerkhan Shujauddin's (R.A) captivity, he,along with his father undertook the Khidmat of conveying food and washing the clothes to both the Dais. Syedi Hasanji Badshah (Q.R) authored a book named Kitab ud Tazkerat in which he described in detail the complete Shahadat (martyrdom) of Syedna Qutbuddin Shahid (R.A).
He stayed in the Khidmat of Syedna Ismail Badruddin (R.A) who took hold of Syedi Hasanji Badshah's (Q.R) hand and placed it on the hands of his son and successor Syedna Abdultayeb Zakiuddin (R.A) and asserted "Hasanji is our very old Khidmat Guzar, do take very good care of him." He went to the provinces of Gujarat and Malwa for Dawat. In the year 1081, Syedna Zakiuddin (R.A) sent him to Ujjain for Dawat and he eventually died there. He was blessed with Duat Mutlaqeen (R.A) in his progeny. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Maula (T.U.S) is also a descendant of Syedi Hasanji Badshah (Q.R).
